Research on Liquid Flow Measurement Method Based on Heat Transfer Method

Thermal flowmeters are used more and widely in liquid flow measurement. In this paper, the mechanical shape of thermal flowmeter is designed, optimal installation position probe determined. aspect measurement mechanism research, three heating methods deduced: constant voltage method, current power method. After reasoning, method determined to be ideal, so selected heat speed-measuring experiment. By analyzing factor convection transfer residual source probe, it concluded that range 0.5–15 m3/d, proportional electrical signal, relative error within ±5.8%. According analysis experimental results, has a simple structure no redundant moving parts, which can prolong its service life when on site. When considering industrial applications, may greater than laboratory error.
